TSI Employee Spotlight: Brice Giblin
Brice Giblin is one of TSI’s Security & Recovery Engineers and we’re happy to be featuring him in this month’s Employee Spotlight! He’s been on the team for just over a year and is making waves through the industry. A true technologist at heart, Brice is constantly expanding his knowledge and sharpening his skills to pave the way for a safer and more secure path in cybersecurity.
1. Tell us what inspired you to get into the IT/cyber-security industry?
I was fascinated by online multiplayer games and how they synchronized in near real-time, which sparked my interest in understanding how the internet works and led me into the field I’m in.
2. Describe yourself in three words
- Curious
- Driven
- Creative
3. How do you gauge success? What is your favorite part of working within the SMB space?
For me, success is when everything is working correctly and being able to fix anything that is not working correctly. Finding problems to solve is my passion and nothing feels better than fixing them.
4. What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I love stepping away from a monitor and being outside whenever possible.
5. What’s your favorite food?
Easy one: Steak.
6. What is your favorite quote?
“In a world that’s changing so quickly, the biggest risk you can take is not taking any risk.” -Mark Zuckerberg
I think it applies to every aspect of life. Nothing gets solved without taking a leap forward.
7. What celebrity or historical figure – past or present – would you like to meet over a cup of coffee and why?
Steve Wozniak – I would like to hear the full story from his perspective about the early days of Apple.
8. What is something most people don’t know about you?
My favorite show is Silicon Valley.
9. What are your goals for the future, both personally and professionally?
Both my personal and professional goals align, as overall, I want to continue to grow my experience and knowledge in Cyber Security. I recently obtained the June 2025 DoD Cyber Sentinel Skills Challenge certification and am excited to earn more like this in the future.
